Setting Up Email Forwarding for your Domain Name

To set Email Forwarding for your Domain Name:

Once logged in select the ‘My Domains’ tab. This will list all Domains held in your account.

Click the ‘Info’ button to access the Management Tools for that domain name.

Under Management Tools click the ‘Email Forwarding’ option.

Enter the email address you want to forward and its destination address then click ‘Update’.

The changes on any existing forwarding record may not take effect for up to 1 hour.

Note: These instructions are for Domain Names, which are merely registered with us, rather than for Domains which have a Web Hosting Plan attached.

If your Domain Name has a Web Hosting plan then all Email functions should be accessed via the Plesk Hosting Control Panel.

Setting Up Web Forwarding for your Domain Name

Once logged in select the ‘My Domains’ tab. This will list all Domains held in your account.

Click the ‘Info’ button to access the Management Tools for that domain name.

Under Management Tools click the ‘Web Forwarding & DNS’ option.

Web Forwarding can be cloaked or non-cloaked.

To set Web Forwarding enter ‘www’ as the Host Name, select either Web Forwarding or Cloaked Forwarding and then enter the address you want your domain to forward to. This should be entered in the following format: http://www.your-own-domain.com.

Cloaked forwarding will retain your domain name in the browser address bar after the domain has forwarded to the destination website.

Non-Cloaked Forwarding will show the address of the destination website in the browser’s address bar after the domain has forwarded.

Note: These instructions are for Domain Names, which are merely registered via Hosted.Com, rather than for Domains, which have, a Web Hosting Plan attached.

If your Domain Name has a Web Hosting plan then all forwarding functions should be accessed via the Plesk Web Hosting Control Panel.
