Ans. Yes we can provide cPanel & Web Hosting Manager as a control panel option on our Centos or Fedora Core VPS’s. The price is currently the same, as for Plesk.

We recommend a higher spec VPS for cPanel.

Also Weycrest we recommend Plesk for VPS useage as it better integrated
into the VPS software.

You can specify your control panel choice in the comments section of the order form?

Fedora Core Logo
Following my post earlier about the release of Fedora Core 6 today we have our first FC6 VPS running at Trinity Buoy Wharf.

[root@vm5 vz-addons]# vzctl enter 6006

entered into VPS 6006

-bash-3.1# cat /etc/redhat-release Fedora Core release 6 (Zod)

The VPS is currently serving a test page at: http://83.167.188.77

We hope to offer Fedora Core 6 mini-VPS’s on the OpenVZ platform with a web based VPS control panel based on HyperVM.

However these VPS’s will only really be suitable for “command linux” people as we have not tested FC6 with “internal” control panels such as cPanel etc.. It may take a

while for these to be compatable.

Virtuozzo BoxOk so we are changing the way memory is handled within vps’s as things have changed a bit since Paul set them up ;o)

We are switching to “SLM” memory management so that our VPS’s act more like a real server. Before they operated on the “UBC” system which had a number of barriers and quite often needed modification for different customers.

So from now on if we wish to setup a VPS with 256MB of RAM, bursting to 512MB we would run this command on the hardware node:

# vzctl set 101 –slmmemorylimit 256M:512M
(limits average memory usage to 256 megabytes, allows using up to 512M).

Where “101″ is the unique ID of the VPS
